Dispatchable Renewable Fuels in the United States - INNIO Jenbacher Power Generation Solutions with Hydrogen and other e-fuels

Date: October 21, 2020
Time: 10:00am PST; 1:00pm EST

Description: Join INNIO Jenbacher and Northeast-Western Energy Systems for a free webinar on the future of renewable fuels for power generation in the United States.

States, cities and businesses across the United States are searching for ways to reduce the carbon intensity of their electricity supply. It is a transition that is centered on the transformation from a largely fossil-based to a low or zero-carbon energy system. But maintaining a stable and steady electricity supply requires a flexible solutions to balance supply and demand in real-time. The use for dispatchable gas-fired plants running on renewable fuels, or e-fuels, such as biogas, landfill gas, syngas or hydrogen can be an innovative and effective tool in helping to reduce the carbon intensity of the electricity supply in the United States. INNIO Jenbacher and Northeast-Western Energy Systems have developed the technologies, capabilities and experience of using a variety of e-fuels and now are seeking engineers, developers and end users that are interesting developing demonstration projects in the 500 kW to 5 MW size range in the United States that can run on hydrogen.
